CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) -- One man was killed after driving his pickup truck into the back of a stopped school bus on a state road outside Cedar City.
The Utah Highway Patrol says there were students on the bus on Monday afternoon, but none was injured.
Richard Elwyn Sewing died at the scene. He was the only person in the pickup truck.
Witnesses said the school bus was stopped on a two-lane highway with all of its stop lights activated.
Trooper Jeff Bigler says it appears the truck didn't slow down before crashing into the bus.
