(KSL News) A man has been arrested after another man claimed he was held hostage.
It happened at 718 N. 900 West.
While police were investigating reports a man had been kidnapped, another man, Guillermo Enrique Lovato, approached them.
During questioning in a patrol car, Lovato become increasingly agitated. He got out of the car and began fighting with the officers.
He was arrested for a prior warrant and now faces up to three counts of assault on an officer.
Police say there was no evidence a kidnapping occurred.
