Utah's congressional delegation is standing with the Utes in their fight to be recognized as the nation's top team.
In a small but sincere showing, Utah's delegation and some others on Capitol Hill didn't vote "yes" on a resolution recognizing Florida as football's national champions.
Reps. Rob Bishop, Jim Matheson and Jason Chaffetz voted "present." Seven representatives total voted "present." Five others voted against the resolution and 22 others didn't vote, although it's not clear why.
Bishop says if the BCS system had been used in World War II, Germany would have won. The Utes hammered Alabama in the Sugar Bowl to cap a perfect season.
