LEVAN, Juab County — The body of a 39-year-old Salt Lake County man who went missing at Yuba State Park Reservoir was recovered Saturday night.

The man's body was located and recovered at approximately 8:30 p.m., according to a press release from the Utah Department of Natural Resources Division of Law Enforcement.

The division called it a "tragic and unfortunate circumstance."

"The Utah Department of Natural Resources Division of Law Enforcement extends condolences to family and friends," the press release said.

Rescuers originally responded to a report of a missing person at 4:30 p.m. He was last seen swimming at North Beach on Yuba State Park Reservoir.

The incident remains under investigation.
