BOUNTIFUL — A semitruck rollover forced the closure of several northbound lanes on I-15 near Bountiful for multiple hours Thursday.
The crash happened shortly after 10 a.m. on Thursday near the 500 South on-ramp. Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Cam Roden said the early belief was the semitruck was going too fast around a curve, causing it to roll and lose a load of metal it was hauling.

Roden said the three right lanes of northbound I-15 would be closed "awhile" for cleanup; some traffic was getting through via the HOV lane, but the road was reopened by 4 p.m.
No other vehicles were involved and there were no injuries, Roden said.
