OREM — A multi-vehicle crash is causing significant slowdowns on northbound I-15 in Orem Friday afternoon.

Four vehicles, including a pickup truck towing a trailer, were involved in a crash near the 1600 North exit around 2:30 p.m. Utah Highway Patrol said it appears there are only minor injuries for those involved in the crash.

All northbound lanes were shut down for a time, but lanes started reopening around 3:15 p.m.

The Utah Department of Transportation issued a warning to expect "major delays" of about an hour and encouraged drivers to avoid the area.
