(KSL News) -- Health investigators in Idaho say the first E. coli tests are inconclusive in the death of a two-year-old Idaho boy.
Kyle Allgood of Chubbuck, Idaho died this week at Primary Children's Hospital in Utah. Kyle's parents told us he had eaten spinach just last week.
Doctors say the boy died of Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome, a type of kidney failure most often caused from E. coli infection.
Idaho health officials will do more testing and hope to have results late next week.
A fund to pay for the boy's final expenses, including the funeral, has been set up. You can contribute to the Kyle Allgood Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank.
