SOUTH SALT LAKE — A man was hit and killed by a pickup truck Thursday night.
Around 6:15 p.m., a man was walking near 3300 S. 1000 West when he was hit by a pickup truck, South Salt Lake police said.
The man died. He was in his 40s or 50s, police said, but his identity has not been released.
Police said the driver of the truck is cooperating with the investigation. The area of the crash was closed until about 11 p.m. during the investigation.
