DRAPER — A 20-year-old man was killed after crashing into a concrete sign at an assisted living facility in Draper.

Draper police said officers were alerted to the crash just after 6:30 a.m. Monday. A 20-year-old man was headed south on Bangerter Parkway when he left the roadway near 14000 South and crashed into a concrete sign at Ashford Assisted Living and Memory Care.

The truck hit the sign and flipped over; the driver was ejected in the collision. The driver died from his injuries. His identity has not been released.

Lt. Mike Elkins said speed was a possible factor, due to how the pickup truck looked, but the incident is still under investigation.
