GEORGETOWN, Idaho — A woman was killed and five people were injured in a crash in Bear Lake County on Sunday, according to Idaho police.

The crash occurred at 7:47 p.m. Sunday on U.S. 30 several miles north of Georgetown, Idaho, when a westbound 2013 Chevrolet Impala crossed the center line and hit an eastbound 2014 Toyota pickup truck.

The driver of the Chevrolet, a 24-year-old woman from Montpelier, Idaho, was taken to a hospital where she died from her injuries. She was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to police. A juvenile in that vehicle was also taken to the hospital.
