OGDEN — A motorcyclist was struck and killed by a truck driver in Ogden Monday afternoon.

Ogden police said a man driving a truck stopped at a stop sign at the Lincoln Avenue and 21st Street intersection at 2:45 p.m. A 65-year-old man riding a motorcycle was traveling east and entered the intersection.

Police said the man driving the truck failed to see the motorcyclist and entered the intersection and struck the rider. The victim was transported to a hospital with serious injuries and later died.

The motorcyclist's name has not yet been released.

The incident remains under investigation.
