OREM — Orem was ready to play from the beginning of the game as it finished out the regular season with 59-14 win over Ridgeline Wednesday night.

The Tigers managed to hand the Riverhawks their second loss of the season by scoring eight touchdowns on the night, six of which were scored in the first half.

Orem quarterback Lance Reynolds III started the night off strong with a 32-yard pass to Roger Saleapaga that was followed by an 11-yard pass to Feleti Iongi, and an 11-yard rushing touchdown by Mack Hixson to take the early 7-0 lead.

A turnover by Ridgeline gave Orem the chance to score a second time, with Reynolds throwing a 21-yard pass to Asher Young to start the drive off strong again. The Tigers ended the drive with a 12-yard passing touchdown to Hixson.

Before the end of the first quarter, the Tigers managed to get the ball again and gave Reynolds the opportunity to connect with Saleapaga for a 35-yard touchdown and to increase the lead to 21-0.

Another touchdown for Orem came quickly into the second quarter on a 40-yard touchdown reception by Hixson, followed by Reynolds throwing another 40-yard touchdown pass to Iongi to round out five touchdowns scored before Ridgeline could get on the board.

The Riverhawks finally got on the board when quarterback Nate Dahle threw a 28-yard pass to Graham Livingston, which was followed by a successful fourth-down conversion from Dahle to Hunter Knighton for a 39-yard touchdown reception.

The Tigers closed out the first half with a sixth touchdown after senior quarterback Branko Hansell-Fotu threw a 27-yard touchdown pass to Young.

As the game grew colder and later in the evening, the momentum of the game slowed down. Orem and Ridgeline still had a few more drives left in them, though.

By the end of the game, Orem managed two more touchdowns — the first being a 71-yard passing touchdown to Boston Sallenback, and the second resulting from a 79-yard passing touchdown to Kaue Akana.

In addition to the touchdowns, Tigers kicker Iongi successfully completed a 34-yard field goal.

Ridgeline didn't miss out scoring during the second half and managed one more touchdown on a 4-yard passing touchdown to Krew Jones, but the effort wasn't enough.
