OGDEN — Police are investigating after a man was stabbed in the chest Thursday afternoon in Ogden.
About 2:30 p.m., a 41-year-old man was stabbed in the upper chest near 2500 Madison Avenue, Ogden police confirmed. According to a police statement, witnesses told officers the man was assaulted after an argument.
The injured man was transported to a hospital, the statement said. While police did not have a condition for the man, they said he is expected to fully recover from his injuries.
Detectives have identified a person of interest in the case and the investigation is ongoing.
Police said there is no danger to the public.
