SALT LAKE CITY — Not every former Utah-based college and high school football star heard his name called during the 2023 NFL draft.
After three days of drafting, a number of other players are getting called up for a shot at the NFL, too. The naming of Toledo's Desjuan Johnson as Mr. Irrelevant — the final pick of the 2023 draft by the Los Angeles Rams — is not the end of the NFL road for hundreds of players around the country.
The Beehive State is no different.
