Sgt. Cameron Roden with Utah Highway Patrol said officers were starting to process the scene Wednesday afternoon and were conducting a death investigation.
The body was found several feet off the roadway in sagebrush on the west side of the freeway 2 miles west of the turnoff toward Grantsville, near the southern tip of the Great Salt Lake. One lane was closed during the investigation, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
