OGDEN — A man died Tuesday evening after being shot in what police say was a vehicle-to-vehicle shooting.

Officers responded to multiple reports of shots being fired from one vehicle to another near the intersection of Harrison Boulevard and 12th Street. When they arrived, officers found a 20-year-old had been shot, said Ogden Police Lt. Michael Rounkles.

The injured man was transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, Rounkles said. His name has not yet been released.

On Wednesday, the Ogden Police Department issued a statement saying the vehicle involved in the shooting had been located and several people were in custody.

"There are no outstanding suspects, nor is there any ongoing threat to public safety," the statement says.

Ogden police are asking anyone who has information about the incident to reach out to their investigations bureau.
