SALT LAKE CITY — In a blink of an eye, the college football season is now in the rearview mirror. It goes so fast.
After all the twists and turns of the 2022 season, Georgia was crowned champion after a blowout win over TCU. The final game may not have been the most ideal end to the season, but there were many fun moments along the way.
And with the end of the college football season comes the end of another year of KSL.com Pick'em. Once all the games for the season were final, two BYU fans and one Utah State fan came out on top for the entire year.
BYU fan Ben Kirk topped the overall leaderboard with a grand total of 2,648 points for the season, followed by Utah State fan Optimus Tom (2,487 points) and BYU fan Tyler Clark (2,472 points). For the bowl season, three BYU fans claimed the top prize: Alesha Allred (952 points), Ken Ockler (938 points) and Jordan Cannon (924 points).
Congrats to this year's winners for a great season — oh, and you got to claim the ultimate bragging rights, too.
BYU fans, as a whole, came out on top with the highest average score per game, with an average of 22.8 points, followed by Utah (22.0 points) and Utah State (21.8 points). For the bowl season, it was much the same with BYU on top at 39.7 points, followed by Utah State (37.4 points) and Utah (36.4 points)
Since we added more bowl games, we also added up on the prizes. This week's first-, second- and third-place winners will get a $200, $125 and $50 Visa gift card, respectively, courtesy of Goldenwest Credit Union. The overall winners of Pick'em will receive a $500 gift card for first place, a $250 gift card for second place and a $100 gift card for third place.
