SALT LAKE CITY — The college football season goes so quickly.
The penultimate week of the regular season saw both BYU and Utah State become bowl eligible, while Utah suffered a loss to likely keep it out of the Pac-12 championship game. And in other games last weekend, Boise State and USC took a commanding lead in their respective conferences with wins.
In the end, two BYU fans and one Utah fan topped the leaderboard for Pick'em this week. BYU fan Jeff Buhler came out on top with 187 points, and was followed by fellow BYU fan Tim Eddington (185 points), who won a tiebreaker with Utah fan Sean Zalonis (185 points), for second place. Zalonis takes the No. 3 prize.
For the week, Utah State fans averaged the most points per game at 20.4, narrowly beating out BYU fans at 20.3 points this week. Utah fans rounded out the weekend with an average of 17.3 points per game. For the season, BYU fans remain in the lead at 20.4 points per game. Utah fans average 19.8 points per game, followed by Utah State fans at 19.6.
This week's first-, second- and third-place winners will get a $100, $70 and $30 Visa gift card, respectively, courtesy of Goldenwest Credit Union. The overall winners of Pick'em will receive a $500 gift card for first place, a $250 gift card for second place and a $100 gift card for third place.
