2 men 'extremely' critical after shooting in Uintah County

MAESER, Uintah County — Two men were critically injured in a shooting in Uintah County early Thursday, sheriff's officials said.

Just after 8 a.m., sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a home in the Sun Ridge subdivision in Maeser on the report of a shooting and found two men inside the home with gunshot wounds.

They were taken to a hospital in "extremely" critical condition, authorities said.

Police say they are not looking for any outstanding suspects in connection to the shooting.

Additional information has not yet been released.
