WEST JORDAN — A fast-food worker who police say paid a teen employee to send him nude photos of himself has been arrested.

Christopher Ross, 42, was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail on Wednesday for investigation of sexual exploitation of a minor and sexual battery.

According to a police booking affidavit, "Christopher was the victim's boss at Sonic Drive-In, in West Jordan."

Ross began picking up a 16-year-old boy and his friends from school and would take them to lunch and pay for everyone, the affidavit states.

"One day the victim asked Christopher for some money, $200, for no reason, which Christopher gave it to him. The victim continued to ask Christopher for money and gas for his vehicle and again Christopher gave it to him," according to the affidavit.

One day, Ross requested nude photos of the boy in exchange for more money, police stated. Ross also gave the boy shoes, Xbox gift cards and gas in exchange for photos, the affidavit states.

Investigators say Ross also inappropriately touched the boy several times while at work.
