SALT LAKE CITY — Two men and a woman have been arrested and accused of holding a woman captive for multiple days and sexually assaulting her.

Ryan James Crowther, 29, was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail for investigation of two counts of rape and two counts of forcible sodomy. Randee Krukowsi, 28, was arrested for investigation of aggravated assault, aggravated kidnapping and child abuse. Sergio Octavio Reynoso, 34, was arrested for investigation of aggravated sexual assault, object rape, two counts of forcible sodomy, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated assault.

On Sunday, a woman called 911 to report she had been assaulted at 1450 S. West Temple.

"She was transported to the hospital with severe injuries to her face, and was unable to speak," according to a police booking affidavit.

"Upon arrival (to the hospital) they noticed multiple injuries to the victim's face, including extensive damage to her eyes and a bruise on her face that resembled a shoe print," a second affidavit states. "The victim's hair had also been cut."

A 7-year-old girl told police she witnessed Krukowski "cutting the victim's hair and yelling at her," according to the affidavit. The girl told her father what she had witnessed. The father then observed Krukowski and the victim "and it appeared that she was torturing the victim by cutting her hair and holding her against her will at the apartment," and heard noises that sounded like the woman was being beaten, the affidavit alleges.

On Monday, the woman was able to tell hospital staff members that she had been sexually assaulted by two men, according to police.

"The victim informed investigators that she had gone to the apartment and that the three suspects would not allow her to leave, stood in front of the door, took her phone away, and … Sergio Reynoso took a firearm out of his waistband when the victim tried to leave," the affidavit states. "The victim stated that she does not remember much about the last couple of days but she remembers being raped by two men and (Krukowski) cutting her hair."

After an undisclosed amount of time, the victim was able to get her phone back and call 911.
