SOUTH SALT LAKE — One man was killed and a woman injured in a car accident in South Salt Lake on Thursday, police said.

The two-car crash occurred around 4 p.m. at 700 E. 3300 South. Both drivers were taken to the hospital in critical condition after the accident, according to South Salt Lake police spokeswoman Danielle Croyle.

One driver, a 34-year-old man, died from his injuries, while the other driver, a woman, is still in critical condition, according to Croyle.

The crash is under investigation.

The identities of both drivers have not been released.
