ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Seikou Sisoho Jawara had his best game of the season with 20 points as Weber State made history with a 68-58 win over Green Bay on Sunday to win the Jersey Mike's Classic in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Sisoho Jawara was 7 of 9 from the field and 5 of 6 from 3-point point range, with 18 of his 20 points in the first half to go along with five 3-pointers in the win, which gave the Wildcats their first 5-0 start since the 1985-86 season. It was also the 300th career win for head coach Randy Rahe, who improved to 300-179 in his 16th season with Weber State.
Dillon Jones had his fourth double-double in five games as he finished with 13 points and grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds for the Wildcats. He also had three steals and was 6 of 8 from the field.
JJ Overton added 16 points on 6 of 7 shooting and had three rebounds.
The Wildcats trailed early on before an 11-0 run gave WSU a 33-23 lead with five minutes left in the first half.

Rahe has led Weber State to five Big Sky titles and three appearances in the NCAA Tournament. He is the winningest coach in Weber State and Big Sky Conference history.
The Wildcats will return home from Florida but hit the road later this week to take on Dixie State on Saturday at 7 p.m. MT in St. George. Weber State will then return to the Dee Events Center to open Big Sky Conference play, hosting Northern Arizona on Dec. 2 and Portland State on Dec. 4.
