SALT LAKE CITY — A server outage is affecting SkyWest Airlines departures, the company said Thursday.

"SkyWest is experiencing an internal server outage and our IT teams are working to resolve the issue. We apologize to customers for the inconvenience and are working to resume normal operations as quickly as possible," SkyWest said in a statement Thursday.

As of 4:17 p.m., the outage was affecting departures, and SkyWest was working to reset its servers, according to United Airlines, SkyWest's partner airline.

No other details were immediately available.
