HEBER CITY — A fugitive led police on a car chase in Heber City during which the driver crashed into two police vehicles and a residential fence on Saturday afternoon, authorities said.
On Saturday afternoon in the Greenfield Circle area, Heber City police located Jared Luther Pacheco, who was previously wanted for felony offenses including possession of a weapon by a restricted person and fleeing, the Heber City Police Department said in a Saturday Facebook post. Officers then attempted a traffic stop.

Pacheco fled in a vehicle along Airport Road and Baxter Drive where he crashed into two marked patrol vehicles while officers were inside before continuing into a residential fence, police said.
Pacheco was arrested on the suspicion of felony fleeing, two counts of aggravated assault on an officer, narcotics offenses and traffic offenses in addition to his original warrant, authorities said.

In the Facebook post, the Heber City Police Department stated, "We are so grateful no one was injured and appreciate all assisting agencies that participated in the apprehension of Mr. Pacheco."
