SOUTH SALT LAKE — Police say an 11-year-old boy reported missing out of South Salt Lake has returned home.

Officials said Kevin Iteriteka's father called police and said he returned home on his own. Police were responding to the home to verify and check on Kevin's welfare.

Kevin was last seen Friday morning at 11 a.m., and South Salt Lake police say he did not have a phone or a way to make contact with him. South Salt Lake Police spokesperson Danielle Croyle called the situation "very concerning."

Kevin went missing and was found by police twice in 2020, once in March and again in June.
