SOUTH SALT LAKE — Hours after police asked the public’s help in finding a missing South Salt Lake boy, he was found safe Monday evening.

Kevin Iteriteka, 11, went missing out of South Salt Lake on Sunday night after leaving with a known acquaintance. He had not returned home Monday but had been found safe by 7 p.m.

Officials with the Utah Department of Public Safety announced Kevin's disappearance shortly before 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

He was considered endangered due to his age.

In March, the 11-year-old was reported missing and was later found safe.
