SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake City police are offering a reward in a case of a woman who was shot and killed in 2018.
A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of a suspect in the 2018 homicide of Wanyun Judd, according to a Tuesday news release from the Salt Lake City Police Department.
Judd, 47, was killed early on the morning of Sept. 28, 2018, when a gunman fired at least one round into her home at 54 E. Harrison Ave, according to police. The shot hit and killed Judd, who was sleeping in her bed.
The vehicle then fled east on Harrison Avenue and then south on State Street. At the time of the shooting, police said they believed suspects may have mistakenly targeted Judd's home.
