PROVO, Utah (AP) -- Although he won the friendly wager in the BYU-Utah football game, Salt Lake City Mayor Ralph Becker is joining Provo Mayor Lewis Billings on a long bicycle ride.
The wager was that the mayor of the city with the losing team in the Nov. 24 rivalry game would make the 50-mile ride to the other city hall and deliver a donation to the food bank.
Utah won the game 48-24, so Billings is on for the bike trek.
Becker isn't obligated to under the friendly wager, but he's joining Billings for the ride from Provo to the Salt Lake City-County Building on Saturday to deliver a donation to the Utah Food Bank on Saturday.
