OGDEN — A man was shot in the stomach Tuesday when he tried to intervene in an argument between two women at a residence on the near 27th Street and Brinker Avenue, police said.

According to police, Mauren Wall, 30, arrived at the residence with a gun and took two cellphones from the two people living there. Officials said that Wall and the woman living at the residence had an ongoing dispute over money. The man attempted to get Wall to leave the residence when she shot him in the stomach, police said.

The man was transported to McKay Dee Hospital where he was treated for his wounds, which are considered to not be life-threatening.

Wall was arrested and booked into Weber County Jail for aggravated assault and aggravated burglary.
