SALT LAKE CITY — Members and nonmembers alike are invited to tune in next week to a special message from President Russell M. Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as he delivers what promises to be a hope-filled message.

In a preview video released Friday morning, the church announced President Nelson will share a "fast-acting and long-lasting spiritual remedy" for those faced with challenges during what has been a rough year for most in a video on Nov. 20.

The 11-minute video premieres at 11 a.m. next Friday and will be posted to President Nelson's social media accounts and the church's YouTube account in 31 languages.

After spending an accomplished career as a heart surgeon and three years as the global church's president, the 96-year-old faith leader has "treated them all," Friday's preview video says — from heart failure to failing hearts.

This year has brought about a global pandemic along with other natural disasters — wildfires, earthquakes and windstorms just to name a few locally — leaving millions worldwide suffering from the lasting impacts of the virus.

Now, ahead of the holiday season, President Nelson wants to help individuals through these tough times.
