SALT LAKE CITY — With less than two weeks to go until Election Day, it's time to grab your mail-in ballot and vote — if you haven't already.

There are several key races in Utah, and arguably the most high-profile one is the gubernatorial race between Lt. Gov. Spencer Cox and Democratic nominee Chris Peterson.

In this episode of The Know podcast, we talk to Peterson on several issues, including:

  • What does a path to victory for him in November look like
  • Utah bipartisanship: Is it realistic that we, as a state, can get back to being more bipartisan and more cooperative?
  • COVID-19: What is current state leadership not doing? And could it be that the politics of reopening and keeping the economy going is what's allowing them to, in Peterson's opinion, not get the job done?

In the following clip, Peterson talks about whether he feels like he's the underdog going up against the lieutenant governor:

In this clip, Peterson talks about the rising cost of living in Utah and what he believes should be done to help make housing more affordable for Utahns:

–Chris Peterson, Democratic candidate for Utah governor
