Veyo Pool Fire grows to 400 acres, closes 1 lane on Highway 18

New fire in Washington County south of Veyo

A new fire has started in Washington County, south of Veyo, according to fire officials on Twitter. The fire was first reported at 20 acres and is now estimated to be about 75-100 acres.The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Updates on Neffs Fire, East Fork Fire, and Center Creek Trail Fires

Neffs Fire east of Millcreek is 60 acres and is 20% contained. More than 200 firefighters are working on the fire and officials ask the public to obey trail closures.
