(KSL News) South Salt Lake police arrested a man today for trying to rob a golf shop with a butcher knife.

Police say 48-year-old Barry Kramer approached a clerk at Golf in the Round, which is located on 600 West and 3300 South, around 4 p.m. They say he was carrying a butcher knife and wearing men's underwear on his head as a mask.

Kramer demanded money, but the clerk replied, "You've got to be kidding me!" The clerk then took the knife from the Kramer.

Kramer took off and ran out onto the driving range. Customers chased him down in a golf cart and held him until police arrived.

The clerk had a few cuts on his hands. Kramer went to the hospital for an evaluation.
