(KSL News) -- A Bountiful woman who developed severe infections after a C-section has filed a 16-million dollar lawsuit.
Lisa Speckman had the surgery at LDS Hospital in February of 2005. The infection she developed resulted in the amputation of her right arm and both legs.
The suit names LDS Hospital, the University of Utah and several other entities.
Speckman claims doctors failed to diagnose and treat an infection before the delivery and a new one she developed after the C-section.
