RICHFIELD — Law enforcement officials are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing man who was last seen on Monday.

James Fields, 77, was supposed to go to a medical appointment in Utah County but never arrived, Sevier County sheriff's officials said in a Wednesday Facebook post.

He was last seen driving a gray 2012 Dodge truck with license plate C323-PL, officials said.

Officials say he may have made it to the medical center, but not to the appointment. There were also reports that he may have been seen Tuesday in Sanpete County, officials said in the Facebook post.

Anyone with information about Fields is asked to call the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office at 435-896-6471.

Editor's Note: The license plate released by law enforcement was incorrect. The information has been updated in the story.
