(KSL News) A 9-year-old boy drowned in Roy this afternoon while playing with friends at a party.
Lifeguards at the Roy City Aquatic Center found the boy not breathing in one of the pools and called in medical assistance.
The pool was shut down while fire crews and EMT's went to work, but two other pools were kept open.
The boy was flown to Primary Children's Medical Center where he later died.
