SALT LAKE CITY — I-80 westbound reopened after a semitruck accident closed the road near the state Route 202 junction in Magna Thursday morning, officials said.

The semitruck was hauling car parts and rolled from the eastbound lanes into the westbound lanes about 3 a.m., according to a tweet from the Utah Highway Patrol.

The driver had minor injuries and no other vehicles were involved, UHP said.

Crews uprighted the semitruck and lanes reopened just after 7:30 a.m., KSL Newsradio reported.
