SALT LAKE CITY — Police are investigating the death of a 54-year-old man who died in a fight with his son in a Salt Lake home Saturday afternoon.
Salt Lake Police Lt. Victor Siebeneck said a stabbing appears to have occurred during the fight at 756 E. 1700 South, but it was unclear what weapon was used in the stabbing or whether the father died from that injury.
Other family members were in the home at the time, Siebeneck said.
The son was taken into police custody. Police did not release the name of the victim or the son Saturday, nor did they release any additional details about the altercation.
