SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A former insurance broker has been accused of misappropriating hundreds of thousands of dollars in premiums from a trust account to finance a house and a company jet.
James Larry Hall II, 37, was scheduled to appear Friday in 3rd District Court on six felony charges, including communications fraud, wrongful dealing of property by a fiduciary and wrongful appropriation.
The allegations date to 2003. Hall has since been appointed president and chief executive of Utah-based Children's Miracle Network.
The Children's Miracle Network -- an organization founded by the Osmond family and "Dukes of Hazzard" actor John Schneider -- said the charges have nothing to do with the charity.
