CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) — A 27-year-old Utah man charged with murder in a fatal shooting at a Cedar City trailer park has been ordered held in the Iron County Jail on $1 million cash-only bail.

Mark Mair of West Valley and an alleged accomplice were arrested in Grand Junction, Colorado the day after he's charged with killing 34-year-old Justin Hannah on July 24.

The St. George Spectrum reports Mair was appointed a public defender during his initial appearance Friday before 5th District Judge Keith Barnes.

Mair is charged with aggravated murder, aggravated burglary and seven counts of felony discharge of a firearm. His lawyer asked for a continuance and Barnes scheduled a status hearing for Sept. 20.

The judge also set a preliminary hearing Aug. 24 for Mair's alleged get-away driver, 19-year-old Elcha Hatch of Panguitch. She's accused of obstructing justice.
