University of Utah wide receiver Marquis Wilson will remain with the Utes this season despite having his scholarship revoked.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports Wilson will remain on the team this season as a walk-on. Head football coach Kyle Whittingham reduced Wilson's status for failing to meet requirements to be fully reinstated for 2008. Wilson was given the option of transferring.

He'll remain on the scout team for 2008 and won't be allowed to participate in games. Wilson, who missed the last two spring practices because of suspensions, had 18 receptions for 285 yards and three touchdowns in 2007.
