TOOELE — A missing mother and daughter have returned home safely.
Authorities in Tooele began looking for Carrie Sutanto Thursday. They said she took her 6-year-old daughter and left their Stansbury Park home after learning of an investigation by the Utah Division of Child and Family Services.
Carrie Sutanto had last been seen on Wednesday. The mother and daughter were both considered to be missing endangered persons, according to police.
Officers said Sutanto had been struggling with mental health issues for several months.
Details of where the pair went were not immediately available.
