Pocatello teen dies after falling from bed of pickup truck

CHUBBUCK, Idaho (AP) — A 17-year-old Pocatello boy has died after he fell out of the bed of a moving pickup truck.

Chubbuck police says they're investigating the accident.

The Idaho State Journal reports that witnesses say five passengers were in the cab of a Ford pickup and the victim, Charles McDevitt, was riding in the bed of the truck.

He fell out around 11:45 p.m. Friday and died at the scene. He was a student at Century High School.
