OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- The mother of an infant strangled by the mother's boyfriend is charged with child abuse and obstruction of justice.

The second-degree felony charges were filed against 24-year-old Camille Randles in 2nd District Court Friday.

Her former boyfriend, Trevor Thomas Grover, was sentenced last month to 15 years to life in prison after pleading guilty to murdering 3-month-old Arouralee Randles in 2006.

He told police he strangled the infant with a sock because he was jealous of the attention she received from her mother.

Grover admitted to cutting off the child's breathing until she passed out on two other occasions.
