CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) -- An 84-year-old former mayor of this southern Utah town died after a car crash.
Police say Robert Linford was involved in a two-car accident Wednesday.
Nobody else was injured and police said an investigation is under way. Linford was mayor of Cedar City from 1982 to 1989.
He held leadership positions with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was involved in Boy Scouts, taught a dance class and was a member of the city's planning and zoning commission until he retired earlier this year.
