(KSL News) -- A man is recovering after his car collided with a train Saturday afternoon.
Police say the man was driving on Old South Main Street in Springville when, for some reason, he did not stop for the freight train.
The train struck the passenger side of the car, pushing it about 75 feet down onto a highway underpass.
The 56-year-old man was flown to the hospital and he's in stable condition.
