SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Utah sophomore guard Luka Drca has been suspended by the Mountain West Conference for one game for hitting an opposing player.

In Saturday's 74-58 victory over TCU, Drca elbowed a member of the Horned Frogs. The conference said Thursday Drca's actions constituted physical abuse and ordered the suspension.

Drca will sit out the Utes' game Saturday against Colorado State.
