MESQUITE, Nev. (AP) - Police in Mesquite say the body of a second man was found hidden in a basement and a second arrest has been made in what appears to be a weekend double homicide.

Mesquite police Officer Jeffrey Smith said Tuesday that 30-year-old Jeremiah Juber of Hurricane, Utah, was arrested Monday in the ongoing investigation into the slayings at a home on East Mesquite Boulevard.

Police say 43-year-old Ryan Wood was arrested after police were called about 6 p.m. Saturday to the home and 50-year-old Michael Eldredge was found mortally wounded.

Eldredge later died at Mesa View Regional Hospital.

Smith says investigators obtained a warrant to search the house, and that's when they found the second victim.

Police haven't said what they think led to the killings.
