(KSL News) Part of Redwood Road was shut down this morning because of an accident.
The crash happened at 3800 South just before 6 a.m. Police say a truck and car were involved in a collision. One of the vehicles flipped.
A medical helicopter flew the truck driver to the hospital. Two other people involved in the crash were also hurt.

Police do not think the crash was weather related.
Redwood Road was closed both northbound and southbound from 3800 South to about 4100 South. It reopened around 9:30 a.m.
Another major accident affected traffic on northbound I-15 at 2700 South.
